Dorian Zimmerman

Co-editor-in-chief, poetry editor

Dorian Zimmerman comes to Reservoir Road to end a hiatus from the literary world. A graduate of the Kenyon Review Young Writer’s Workshop, he worked and taught poetry at Fishtrap, performed at spoken word events up and down the West Coast, published poems in Blue Moon, and won one of the annual Zumwalt Prairie Poetry contests.

Now, Dorian writes both poetry and fiction from his beloved home city of Seattle, working on a poetry collection and a novel. Whereas his poetry grounds itself in the tangible aspects of everyday existence, his prose tends to eschew reality in favor of the fantastical.

Eventually, he will have a website where you can learn more.
